This episode of @4 is all about the 3rd annual IPP Expo at the Red River College Princess Street campus. Rob Mahon hosted and interviewed Noelle Vong, coordinator of the IPP Expo, Nolan Kowal was among the students doing live interviews, Alicia Kondrat spoke to Joy Balmana, founder of StreamWPG, and Christina Hyrniuk conducted a live segment of her political satire show, Christina’s Arena. We also had our own Lexi Myers on our rant segment, One-way radio, talking about the proper definition of feminism.
After taking a week off, @4 is back with a bang. Lexi Myers hosted the hour and had Trenton Burton, a local musician, come on the show to talk about his new debut album, Six to Twenty-one, which focusses on his struggle growing up with mental illness. Rob Mahon presented his feature on the PortageTerriors, Christina Hyrniuk rants about refugees illegally coming into Manitoba from the United States, and Nolan Kowal interviews the fifth for Team Englot, Krysten Karwacki, about her silver medal win in the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
IMPORTANT: Due to audio issues that occurred during the recording, the first 6 minutes were cut. Sorry for the confusion. You will still hear the quick Oscar post-show comments and everything Disney related so DON’T WORRY!
