TRIGGER WARNINGS: Toilet talk Standing in the stall.. Quiet all around me.. I glance down to my left.. In the battlefield, I see a body laying there.. A lone jean button, in the trenches of the ranky urinal.. Who do you belong to, young jean button? Who is your commanding officer? I didn’t have time to check for a dog tag. I had to run, back to the station, to report the tragedy. I wept as I ran. There is a certain part of a man that dies when he sees such vulgar, dismaying, grotesque sights. Who could have lost a […]
Most mammals nap. Ronald Reagan was a documented napper. Right now, there are pre-schoolers napping up a storm in elementary schools around the world. Napping is great and if you’re not a napper, you should consider hopping on the nap train. A short nap in the afternoon can in help you stay more alert, it can even help you retain information. If nothing else, it’s a great way to relax and unwind after a busy day of “adulting.” You don’t want to nap for too long though. Twenty to 90 minutes is definitely the prime nap length, but anything longer than that and you […]

Is anyone else supremely happy that Dave Chapelle made his return to Television this past weekend. For those who don’t know, Chapelle hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend and it was probably, in my opinion, one of the best shows they’ve done in the last few seasons. And it came on the heels of the biggest shake-up in recent American political history. I don’t think Lorne Michaels could’ve picked a better host for that particular night. The comedy was on point. Chapelle was in his element and it showed. My favourite sketch was the actual political one that started […]
Morning out there in Internetland Folks. Erik Emil from Hardcore Mornings here. What a crazy last week in the world, eh? Donald Trump gets elected President of the U.S.A., Dave Chapelle comes out of retirement (along with A Tribe Called Quest!!!) to host Saturday Night Live as a response, and they’re actually letting me host again on Red River Radio. I’m not sure what this all means but I do know it will make for some interesting comedy for at least the next four years. Although, it will be a weird nightmarish style of comedy. That’s for sure. In all […]

Did you know that prostate cancer kills 35 men every hour, or that testicular cancer is the most common type of cancer found in men under 40? Whether you like it or not, Movember November is here for another few weeks and the moustaches are only going to be getting more prominent. The Movember Foundation was created by two friends at a pub in Melbourne, Australia. They challenged 30 of their friends to grow their very best moustache for a great cause. Soon enough, Vine will be no more. No more loops, no more revines for revines, and no more “Do it for the Vine”. As I previously mentioned, Twitter announced that they will be shutting down all operations for the hugely popular video-sharing app, Vine. After three great years and many loops later, the app itself will be deleted and unfortunately, the dedicated people at Vine will be out of a job. Some might say that Vine’s end doesn’t really bother them, but it sure will be hard for all the creators to let go. A lot of them got their […]
This November 8th voters will go out all over the United States to vote for their new President. Justin Timberlake did just that. This past Monday, Justin flew from Los Angeles to his hometown of Memphis to cast his ballot early. Justin took a picture of himself at the polling station and posted it to Instagram for his followers to see — encouraging them to vote. Turns out that in Tennessee it is illegal to take photos inside polling locations. Violating these laws can result in 30 days in jail and a $50 fine. This law is a […]
