Tomorrow’s the big day – the second episode of the greatest ever radio show, the Mid-day Memo!
We’ve got a show full of language and music this week: Our in-the-field correspondent Kelsey Marcotte will be at The Forks to tell us about the Pavillon Sub Zero amphitheatre, specifically Norwegian artist and multi-instrumentalist Terje Isungset’s performance there tomorrow evening.
Cassidy Dankochik will fill us in on the UN’s Year of Indigenous Languages, while our entertainment reporter Graeme Houssin’s gonna be chatting with Jeremy Haywood-Smith of Winnipeg’s JayWood about their performance tomorrow night at Big Fun Festival with Apollo Suns and Silence Kit.
But that’s not all. Hannah Owczar’s gonna chat with a counselor about mindfulness and self-care, while Jeremy Morantz educates us all on Overdose Awareness. It’ll be a show of music, mayhem, enunciation and education! Be sure to tune in!
While you wait, check out JayWood’s bandcamp here:
